A woman claiming to be plagued by a mystery medical condition believes she is a victim of radiation poisoning because she lives near an electrical substation.

Margaret Kiernan, 49, has lived her entire life in a house just 20 yards away from a small substation, which she blames for causing fits, walking difficulties and other issues.

Now, she is considering moving away from her family home, because the council are planning on knocking down the substation and replacing it with a bigger one to power a new block of flats.
